I was assigned room 24173 (Habitat Elevators) - which was at the very end of the hallway. It said I would be emailed when my room was ready - which was after 3pm. I left my bags at baggage check, went and had breakfast, played in the casino for a bit, and then went to kiosk around 12:30p - only to find out my room was not yet ready. I was told I could do an early check-in for $30, or wait until 12:30p to do kiosk check-in or 1pm to check in at registration.
I arrived at the hotel at 9am (as I indicated when making the reservation). Considering this room normally goes for over $200 per night, it was still a good deal. Let me mention that even when your room is 'comped', you still have to pay the ridiculous resort fee of $39.68 per night. However, I received an offer through Caesar Entertainment's Total Rewards where they comped me a two-night's stay in one of their newly renovated Premium One King Non-Smoking rooms, and I thought I would give it a try since the photos looked inviting.
After my last visit to The Flamingo, I swore I would never return.
