The servers were plentiful and attentive, and we had no problems ordering drinks. We went early afternoon on Saturday and the place was bustling. I wasn't sure what to expect because I have read many mixed reviews, but we had a good time. We visited Parx casino for the first time this weekend to check it out. I have written to Parx and emailed and recieve no response.
However, even realizing that my comps where stolen by someone at a Parx restuarant the host would not give me my comps back. The only explaination was that someone at Chickie and Pete's wrote my number down and used it to pay bills when people paid cash. We found out that the night I ate at Chickie and Pete's the first time someone used my comps 4 times within 2 hours. After 15 mintues no host came out, finally a floor person helped me. When to find a host and was told they would be out to see me. I was told to go to the cashier to clear this up and was told to go to the players club where I was told they needed to send me to a host to clear it up. On 4/8 I went back to Chickie and Pete's and went to pay for my bill from the remaining comps and was told I had nothing left. I visited Parx about 2 weeks ago 4/ 3 and ate at Chickie and Pete's and used $27 in comps. I am a frequent visitor to Parx and have had some decent luck, however my recent visit makes me wonder if I will be heading back anytime soon.
